On October 19, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of boscalid and prothioconazole in or on various commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by December 18, 2018. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on October 23, 2018.

On October 19, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) posted Notice No. 2018-452 (in Korean) proposing revisions to their food regulations, including several MRL changes.

Relevant proposed MRLs will appear in the Global MRL Database next week.

On October 18, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish or modify MRLs for several active ingredients.

Comments must be received by November 19, 2018. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on October 19, 2018.

On October 18, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for trifloxystrobin, quinclorac, rimsulfuron, and pyroxasulfone.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on October 19, 2018.

On October 12, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published an order authorizing the application of Codex MRLs for glyphosate in pulses for the purpose of import clearances.

These glyphosate MRLs will display in the  Global MRL Database on October 17, 2018.

On October 16, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for sethoxydim, mandipropamid, and flubendiamide.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on October 17, 2018.

On October 15, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published reasoned opinions on the modification of the existing MRLs for mepiquat in cotton seeds and animal commodities and the evaluation of confirmatory data following the Article 12 MRL review of teflubenzuron.

Proposed MRLs from these reasoned opinions will display in the Global MRL Database on October 17, 2018.

On October 12, the European Union Published the following Commission Regulations amending MRLs for several active substances:

• Reg. (EU) 2018/1514 regarding abamectin, acibenzolar-S-methyl, clopyralid, emamectin, fenhexamid, fenpyrazamine, fluazifop-P, isofetamid, Pasteuria nishizawae Pn1, talc E553B, and tebuconazole in or on certain products.
• Reg. (EU) 2018/1515 regarding diphenylamine and oxadixyl in or on certain products.
• Reg. (EU) 2018/1516 regarding penoxsulam, triflumizole, and triflumuron in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect November 1, 2018 (Reg. 2018/1514) and May 1, 2019 (Reg. 2018/1515 and Reg. 2018/1516). Relevant pending MRL changes will be available in the Global MRL Database on October 16, 2018.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by December 14, 2018. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on October 16, 2018.

On October 12, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Published Notice No. 2018-74 (link in Korean) revising their food regulations, including numerous MRL changes.

MRL changes from this amendment will appear in the Global MRL Database next week.
