Bryant Christie Inc. leads reverse trade mission to promote California pears

On July 17-21, Will Callis, a member of the Bryant Christie Inc. (BCI) marketing team, hosted six Mexican wholesale produce buyers on behalf of the California Pear Advisory Board (CPAB).  Will, along with the CPAB’s Mexican marketing representative, organized the flights, hotels, guest lists, and itinerary for the trip.  During the trip, the wholesalers met with the four primary pear exporters from California, toured their packing facilities and orchards, and discussed the current market situation.  The goal of the trip was to reinvigorate the relationships between the Mexican wholesale produce trade and the California pear industry, in an effort to increase exports to this sector.

As Bryant Christie celebrates its twenty fifth year in business, we would like to extend a special thanks to the California pear industry, who has partnered with Bryant Christie for over twenty years to promote the export of California pears all over the world.
