On February 7, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of 2,4-D in or on cotton, gin byproducts and amended the existing tolerance on cotton, undelinted seed. Additionally, tolerances for residues of propamocarb hydrochloride were established in or on potato.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by April 10, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on February 8, 2017.

On December 12, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for acetamiprid, 2,4-D, pymetrozine, (E,Z)-7,9 dodecadienyl acetate, thiacloprid, and metaflumizone.

MRL changes from these amendments will be displayed in the Global MRL Database on December 15.

On November 8, Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for flupyradifurone, 2,4-D, (E,Z)-7,9 dodecadienyl acetate, acetamiprid, metaflumizone, pymetrozine, and thiacloprid (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by December 7, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs have been added to the Global MRL Database.

On October 27, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish MRLs for 2,4-D and propamocarb hydrochloride.

Comments must be received by November 28, 2016. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on November 1, 2016.

On December 17, the European Union published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 1317/2013 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation revises MRLs for 2,4-D, beflubutamid, cyclanilide, diniconazole, florasulam, metolachlor and S-metolachlor, and milbemectin.

MRL revisions were made to address new and changed uses. This amendment will enter into force July 6, 2014.

Relevant changes will appear in www.mrldatabase.com after the regulation is in effect.
