The U.S. EPA recently established tolerances for residues of oxytetracyclinebixafen, clomazone, bifenthrin, and dinotefuran in or on various commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by February 4, 2019. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on December 6, 2018.

On December 22, the U.S. EPA established time-limited tolerances for residues of the pesticide bifenthrin in or on avocado and pomegranate. The tolerances will expire on December 31, 2019.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by February 21, 2017. The Section 18 tolerances will display in the Global MRL Database on December 23, 2016.

On October 18, the U.S. EPA published proposed tolerances for residues of deltamethrin, bifenthrin, benzovindiflupyr, and difenoconazole in or on several commodities.

Comments must be received by November 17, 2016. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on October 19, 2016.

Denmark’s Høringsportalen posted draft MRL amendments under consideration by the European Union's Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed. These include:

  • SANTE/11309/2016: aminopyralid, azoxystrobin, cyantraniliprole, cyflufenamid, cyproconazole, diethofencarb, dithiocarbamates, fluazifop-P, fluopyram, haloxyfop, isofetamid, metalaxyl, prohexadione, propaquizafop, pyrimethanil, Trichoderma atroviride strain SC1, and zoxamide
  • SANTE/11418/2015: bifenthrin, carbetamide, cinidon-ethyl, fenpropimorph, and triflusulfuron

Relevant proposed MRLs will begin to appear in the Global MRL Database starting September 21, 2016.

On July 18, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for chlorantraniliprole, alpha-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, acetamiprid, azoxystrobin, carfentrazone-ethyl, cypermethrin, thiamethoxam, thiophanate-methyl, pyraclostrobin, imibenconazole, fipronil, and spinosad.

MRL changes from these amendments will be entered in the Global MRL Database by Wednesday, July 20.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by July 7, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will show in the Global MRL Database next week.
