On July 30, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) notified the WTO of proposed MRL changes for dimethenamid, fluxapyroxad, gibberellin, heptachlor, fluvalinate, teflubenzuron, 2,4-D, chlorfluazuron, chlormequat, metalaxyl and metalaxyl-M, and spinosad.

The final deadline for comments is September 28, 2018. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on August 1, 2018.

On April 13, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2017/693 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for bitertanol, chlormequat, and tebufenpyrad in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect November 3, 2017. Relevant pending MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on April 14, 2017.

On February 7, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish MRLs on several active ingredients.

Comments must be received by March 9, 2017. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on February 9, 2017.

On July 7, the European Union notified the WTO of proposed MRLs for active ingredients bitertanol, tebufenpyrad, and chlormequat in or on certain products.

The final date for comments is September 5, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database within the next couple of days.

On March 7, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a reasoned opinion on the review of the existing MRLs for chlormequat according to Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005.

The European Union's chlormequat MRLs currently display in the Global MRL Database.

The European Union recently published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 737/2014 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation includes MRLs for 2-phenylphenol, chlormequat, cyflufenamid, cyfluthrin, dicamba, fluopicolide, flutriafol, fosetyl, indoxacarb, isoprothiolane, mandipropamid, metaldehyde, metconazole, phosmet, picloram, propyzamide, pyriproxyfen, saflufenacil, spinosad, and trifloxystrobin in or on certain products.

Further details, including MRL tables, may be found via the linked Official Journal document. MRLs in this regulation will apply starting July 30, 2014, and will appear in the MRL Database at that time.
