On January 17, the European Union published Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/70 amending MRLs for ametoctradin, chlorpyrifos-methyl, cyproconazole, difenoconazole, fluazinam, flutriafol, prohexadione, and sodium chloride in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect February 6, 2018. Relevant pending MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on January 18, 2018.

On October 20, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for mandipropamid, cyprodinil, difenoconazole, dimethomorph, and lambda-cyhalothrin (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by November 18, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on October 25, 2017.

On August 28, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) announced proposed MRL changes for difenoconazole, pyraziflumid, flutianil, folpet, metaflumizone, mepiquat chloride, and abamectin. These changes were reported via the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service. 

Comments are due to the Embassy by September 1, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database over the next week.

On August 8, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for carbosulfan, copper compounds, difenoconazole, spiromesifen, flutriafol, fluxapyroxad, glufosinate-ammonium, imidacloprid, indoxacarb, thiodicarb, gibberellic acid, abamectin, azoxystrobin, 4-indol-3-ylbutyric acid, acibenzolar-S-methyl, and carbendazim.

MRL changes from these amendments will be entered in the Global MRL Database by Wednesday, August 10.
