On July 19, the European Union notified the WTO of SANTE 10151-2018, proposing draft MRLs for buprofezin, diflubenzuron, ethoxysulfuron, ioxynil, molinate, picoxystrobin, and tepraloxydim in or on certain products.

Relevant proposed MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on July 21, 2018.

On March 16, Europe's Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP) published an adopted opinion recommending the amendment of an MRL for diflubenzuron in Salmonidae.

Based on the CVMP opinion, the European Commission will adopt a legally binding Regulation establishing the MRLs for the substance. Applicants may request re-examination of any CVMP opinion within 15 days of its publication.

The proposed MRL from the summary opinion will display in the Global MRL Database on March 21, 2018.

On October 5, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for thiodicarb, hydrogen peroxide, metalaxyl-M, halosulfuron, diflubenzuron, chlorantraniliprole, carfentrazone-ethyl, potassium bicarbonate, and azoxystrobin (links in Portuguese). 

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by November 5, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on October 6, 2017.

On May 31, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for the following active ingredients (in Portuguese): thiophanate-methylflumioxazinfosetyl, Bacillus firmustrifloxystrobin, Pasteuria nishizawaeS-metolachlorspinetoramcyproconazoleprohexadione-calciumMelaleuca alternifolia, fluazinam, lufenuron, diflubenzuron, atrazine, chlorothalonil, imazethapyr, azoxystrobin, difenoconazole, tebuconazole, metsulfuron-methyl, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, zeta-cypermethrin, imibenconazole, bifenthrin, and etofenprox.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by June 26, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will show in the Global MRL Database by Thursday.
