On November 4, the Australia Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Gazette No. 22 – 4 November 2014. Pages 32-33 of the gazette list proposed amendments to MRLs on various commodities.

Comments on proposed MRLs must be submitted by December 2, 2014.

On August 26, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority published Gazette No. APVMA 17. The gazette contains variations to Standards 1.4.2 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, Australia's international MRL regulation.

MRL changes are made for blueberries, pulses, potato, rape seed, strawberry, celery, poppy seed, and animal products.

On August 16, the US EPA established an MRL for imazapic on sugarcane, and established an MRL for emamectin on wine grapes. Objections and requests for hearings for each of these changes must be received on or before October 15, 2013.

April 6, 2013, the European Union's MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 293/2013 entered into force.  This regulation raises MRLs for the following active ingredients: emamectin benzoate, etofenprox, etoxazole, flutriafol, glyphosate, phosmet, pyraclostrobin, spinosad and spirotetramat.

On March 27, 2013, the US EPA published a final rule, 78 FR 18504, in the US Federal Register amending the MRL regulation for the active ingredient emamectin benzoate. A new MRL is established for cucurbit vegetables group 9, and the residue definitions have been revised for several existing tolerances.
