On October 20, the U.S. EPA established a tolerance for residues of fluridone in or on cotton gin byproducts.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by December 19, 2016. The amended MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on October 21, 2016.

On February 17, the U.S. EPA established a tolerance for residues of fluridone in or on cotton, undelinted seed.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by April 12, 2016. The amended MRLs will be added to Global MRL Database.

On April 6, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of several initial filings of pesticide petitions requesting the establishment or modification of pesticide MRLs in or on various commodities.

Comments on petitioned-for tolerances must be received by May 6, 2015, and relevant proposed MRLs will be added to www.globalmrl.com.

On October 22, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) published an amendment (in Japanese) to their national MRL standard. The amendment includes MRL changes for aklomide, anilofos, isopyrazam, imicyafos, chlorantraniliprole, cyazofamid, dichlofenthion, dinotefuran, spinetoram, vamidothion, pyriofenone, pyridafenthion, phenthoate, fluridone, milneb, and methazole.

MRLs that are newly-added or revised to a less restrictive level have entered into force. For MRLs changing to a more restrictive level, Japan is implementing a six month grace period. These changes will go into effect in April 2014.
