On March 20, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for chlorfluazuron, spinetoram, cyproconazole, clethodim, azadirachtin, amicarbazone, azoxystrobin (proposed via Consulta Pública n° 296 and n° 306), halosulfuron-methyl, indaziflam, linuron, mepiquat chloride, propaquizafop, triclopyr, thiodicarb, tebuconazole (proposed via Consulta Pública n° 304 and n° 308), and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium.

MRL changes from these amendments will be displayed in the Global MRL Database on March 21.

This week, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published proposed monograph changes (including some MRL revisions) for chlorfluazuron, spinetoram, cyproconazole, clethodim, azadirachtin, amicarbazone, azoxystrobin (Consulta Pública n° 296 and n° 306), halosulfuron-methyl, indaziflam, linuron, mepiquat chloride, propaquizafop, triclopyr, thiodicarb, tebuconazole (Consulta Pública n° 304 and n° 308), iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by March 11, 2017 for iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium, azoxystrobin (n° 306), and tebuconazole (n° 308) and by March 10, 2017 for all other active ingredients. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on February 11, 2017.

On April 19, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published conclusions on the peer reviews of the pesticide risk assessments of cyclaniliprole and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium.

The European Union's cyclaniliprole and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium MRLs currently display in the Global MRL Database.
