On June 7, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published a new MRL amendment affecting amisulbrom, 4-aminopyridine, isoxaflutole, chlorobenzilate, dinoseb, thiamethoxam, thifensulfuron, tulathromycin, sodium TCA, picoxystrobin, pyroquilon, phenmedipham, and benzofenap.

Relevant MRL changes will appear in the Global MRL Database tomorrow.

On June 4, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2015/845 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for azoxystrobin, chlorantraniliprole, cyantraniliprole, dicamba, difenoconazole, fenpyroximate, fludioxonil, glufosinate-ammonium, imazapic, imazapyr, indoxacarb, isoxaflutole, mandipropamid, penthiopyrad, propiconazole, pyrimethanil, spirotetramat, and trinexapac in or on certain products.

MRLs go into effect on June 24, 2015, and relevant MRL changes will be added to Global MRL Database as pending.

On June 26, the European Union (EU) published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 703/2014 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation includes MRLs for acibenzolar-S-methyl, ethoxyquin, flusilazole, isoxaflutole, molinate, propoxycarbazone, pyraflufen-ethyl, quinoclamine, and warfarin in or on certain products.

Further details, including MRL tables, may be found via the linked Official Journal document. MRLs in this regulation will apply starting January 16, 2015, and relevant regulatory changes will appear in www.mrldatabase.com at that time.

The European Union recently notified the WTO of draft MRLs for the active ingredients acibenzolar-S-methyl, ethoxyquin, flusilazole, isoxaflutole, molinate, propoxycarbazone, pyraflufen-ethyl, quinoclamine, and warfarin.

The EU is proposing to adopt these changes in May 2014. Comments are due by February 11, 2014.

In addition to proposing MRL changes, the APVMA's Gazette No. 16 includes an amendment to Australia's international MRL standard.

The amendment revises MRLs for the following active ingredients: abamectin, bifenthrin, boscalid, chlorantraniliprole, chlorothalonil, dimethoate, fluazifop-butyl, fluazifop-p-butyl, glufosinate and glufosinate-ammonium, isoxaflutole, mandipropamid, penflufen, spinosad, terbuthylazine, and trifloxystrobin.

Relevant changes will be made to www.mrldatabase.com early next week.
