On October 16, Taiwan notified the WTO of a final amendment to its Standards for veterinary drug residues limits in foods. Relevant MRL changes will be made to Global MRL Database's Veterinary Drugs.

On April 24, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) published an amendment (in Japanese) to their national MRL standard. This amendment includes MRL changes for avilamycin, ametoctradin, isoprothiolane, difenoconazole, tebuconazole, bifenthrin, pyrifluquinazon, flonicamid, penflufen, and levamisole.

MRLs that are newly-added or revised to a less restrictive level have entered into force. For MRLs changing to a more restrictive level, Japan is implementing a six month grace period. These changes will go into effect in October 2014.
