Effective May 15, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) amended Japan's MRL regulation (link in Japanese). This update affects MRLs for the following active ingredients: alachlor, kresoxim-methyl, chromafenozide, saflufenacil, cyflumetofen, spiromesifen, trifluralin, fenbuconazole, flunixin, penthiopyrad, milbemectin, and metaflumizone.

Japan maintains an online MRL database, searchable by active ingredient. MRL updates typically take about a week to show up in the English-translated database; at this time, relevant changes will be made to www.mrldatabase.com.

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) recently published an update (in Japanese) to Japan's MRL regulation. This update removes and revises MRLs for TCMTB, acequinocyl, azoxystrobin, abamectin, esprocarb, saflufenacil, cyenopyrafen, simeconazole, silafluofen, sedecamycin, thiamethoxam, tebufloquin, bixafen, pyraflufen-ethyl, pyridaben, flutriafol, and repimectin. Increased MRLs are in effect as of March 12, 2013 and decreased or deleted MRLs as of September 11, 2013.

Relevant changes will appear in www.mrldatabase.com when they come into effect.

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) recently published an update (in Japanese) to Japan's MRL regulation. This update removes and revises MRLs for 32 active ingredients, including chlorfenapyr and tebuconazole. Increased MRLs are in effect as of February 1, 2013, and decreased or deleted MRLs as of July 31, 2013.
