On April 4, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published a new MRL amendment affecting acibenzolar-S-methyl, oxathiapiprolin, cycloprothrin, difenoconazole, triafamone, norfloxacin, fluoxastrobin, brotizolam, propachlor, and metrafenone.

Relevant MRL changes have been made to the Global MRL Database.

On April 15, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2016/567 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for chlorantraniliprole, cyflumetofen, cyprodinil, dimethomorph, dithiocarbamates, fenamidone, fluopyram, flutolanil, imazamox, metrafenone, myclobutanil, propiconazole, sedaxane, and spirodiclofen in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect May 5, 2016. Relevant pending MRL changes are on display in the Global MRL Database.

Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently proposed MRLs for the following active ingredients:

PMRA will accept comments on these proposed MRLs through December 30, 2015 (bifenthrin and metrafenone) and January 6, 2015 (chlorfenapyr and clothianidin). Relevant proposed MRLs have been added to Global MRL Database.

On July 1, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2015/1040 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for azoxystrobin, dimoxystrobin, fluroxypyr, methoxyfenozide, metrafenone, oxadiargyl, and tribenuron in or on certain products.

MRLs go into effect January 21, 2016. However, changes concerning oxadiargyl shall apply starting October 1, 2015. Relevant MRL changes will be added to Global MRL Database.

The European Union recently notified the WTO of draft MRLs for azoxystrobin, dimoxystrobin, fluroxypyr, methoxyfenozide, metrafenone, oxadiargyl, and tribenuron-methyl in or on various commodities.

The final date for comments is February 10, 2015.

On February 25, the U.S. EPA published a notice of applications received for new and revised MRLs. Pesticide petitions have been submitted for metrafenone, boscalid, pyraclostrobin, metaldehyde, saflufenacil, tebuconazole, thiram, and abamectin. Comments must be received on or before March 27, 2014.
