On August 31, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for azamethiphos, pyroxasulfone, clethodim, nicosulfuron, and dodine.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on September 1, 2017.

On May 25, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for nicosulfuron on sorghum and dodine on bananas. 

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through August 7, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on May 26, 2017.

On November 4, the U.S. EPA established MRLs for residues of diethofencarb and nicosulfuron in or on multiple commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by January 4, 2016. The amended MRLs have been added to Global MRL Database.

On June 11, the European Union (EU) published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 617/2014 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation includes MRLs for ethoxysulfuron, metsulfuron-methyl, nicosulfuron, prosulfuron, rimsulfuron, sulfosulfuron and thifensulfuron-methyl in or on certain products.

Further details, including MRL tables, may be found via the linked Official Journal document. MRLs in this regulation will apply starting January 2, 2015, and relevant regulatory changes will appear in www.mrldatabase.com at that time.

The European Union recently notified the WTO of draft MRLs for the active ingredients ethoxysulfuron, metsulfuron-methyl, nicosulfuron, prosulfuron, rimsulfuron, sulfosulfuron and thifensulfuron-methyl.

The EU is proposing to adopt these changes in May 2014. Comments are due by February 17, 2014.
