On April 24, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments

for fenpropathrin, phosmet, thiophanate-methyl, quizalofop-P, pyriproxyfen, fluazinam, and formetanate hydrochloride (link in Portuguese).

MRL changes from these amendments have been added to the Global MRL Database.

The European Union recently published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 737/2014 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation includes MRLs for 2-phenylphenol, chlormequat, cyflufenamid, cyfluthrin, dicamba, fluopicolide, flutriafol, fosetyl, indoxacarb, isoprothiolane, mandipropamid, metaldehyde, metconazole, phosmet, picloram, propyzamide, pyriproxyfen, saflufenacil, spinosad, and trifloxystrobin in or on certain products.

Further details, including MRL tables, may be found via the linked Official Journal document. MRLs in this regulation will apply starting July 30, 2014, and will appear in the MRL Database at that time.

On December 13, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published Modification of the existing MRLs for phosmet in citrus fruit, pome fruit and rape seed.

April 6, 2013, the European Union's MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 293/2013 entered into force.  This regulation raises MRLs for the following active ingredients: emamectin benzoate, etofenprox, etoxazole, flutriafol, glyphosate, phosmet, pyraclostrobin, spinosad and spirotetramat.
