On May 18, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for abamectin and pyrimethanil in or on various commodities.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through August 1, 2018. The proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on May 22, 2018.

Denmark’s Høringsportalen posted draft MRL amendments under consideration by the European Union's Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed. These include:

  • SANTE/11309/2016: aminopyralid, azoxystrobin, cyantraniliprole, cyflufenamid, cyproconazole, diethofencarb, dithiocarbamates, fluazifop-P, fluopyram, haloxyfop, isofetamid, metalaxyl, prohexadione, propaquizafop, pyrimethanil, Trichoderma atroviride strain SC1, and zoxamide
  • SANTE/11418/2015: bifenthrin, carbetamide, cinidon-ethyl, fenpropimorph, and triflusulfuron

Relevant proposed MRLs will begin to appear in the Global MRL Database starting September 21, 2016.

On September 5, Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for pyrimethanil, mancozeb, amicarbazone, diquat, spiromesifen, chlorothalonil, benzyladenine, chlorantraniliprole, imazamox, and ethiprole.

MRL changes from these amendments will display in the Global MRL Database on September 7, 2016.

On July 28, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for the following active ingredients (in Portuguese): amicarbazone, chlorantraniliprole, mancozeb, pyrimethanil, imazamox, spiromesifen, chlorothalonil, and benzyladenine.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by August 26, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will show in the Global MRL Database on July 29.

(EU) 2015/845 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for azoxystrobin, chlorantraniliprole, cyantraniliprole, dicamba, difenoconazole, fenpyroximate, fludioxonil, glufosinate-ammonium, imazapic, imazapyr, indoxacarb, isoxaflutole, mandipropamid, penthiopyrad, propiconazole, pyrimethanil, spirotetramat, and trinexapac in or on certain products.

MRLs go into effect on June 24, 2015, and relevant MRL changes will be added to Global MRL Database as pending.
