On July 30, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) notified the WTO of proposed MRL changes for dimethenamid, fluxapyroxad, gibberellin, heptachlor, fluvalinate, teflubenzuron, 2,4-D, chlorfluazuron, chlormequat, metalaxyl and metalaxyl-M, and spinosad.

The final deadline for comments is September 28, 2018. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on August 1, 2018.

In the past week, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for Paecilomyces lilacinus, 2,4-D, spinosad, flubendiamide, and tebuconazole (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by June 1, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on May 3, 2017.

On July 18, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for chlorantraniliprole, alpha-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, acetamiprid, azoxystrobin, carfentrazone-ethyl, cypermethrin, thiamethoxam, thiophanate-methyl, pyraclostrobin, imibenconazole, fipronil, and spinosad.

MRL changes from these amendments will be entered in the Global MRL Database by Wednesday, July 20.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by July 7, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will show in the Global MRL Database next week.
