On September 15, the European Union notified the WTO of proposed MRLs for chlorpyrifos, chlorpyrifos-methyl, and triclopyr in or on certain products. The proposed date of adoption for these MRLs is March 2018.

Comments are due by November 13, 2017. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on September 20, 2017.

On June 8, the U.S. EPA established a time-limited tolerance for residues of triclopyr in or on sugarcane. The tolerance will expire on December 31, 2020.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by August 7, 2017. The Section 18 tolerance will display in the Global MRL Database on June 9, 2017.

On March 20, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for chlorfluazuron, spinetoram, cyproconazole, clethodim, azadirachtin, amicarbazone, azoxystrobin (proposed via Consulta Pública n° 296 and n° 306), halosulfuron-methyl, indaziflam, linuron, mepiquat chloride, propaquizafop, triclopyr, thiodicarb, tebuconazole (proposed via Consulta Pública n° 304 and n° 308), and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium.

MRL changes from these amendments will be displayed in the Global MRL Database on March 21.

This week, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published proposed monograph changes (including some MRL revisions) for chlorfluazuron, spinetoram, cyproconazole, clethodim, azadirachtin, amicarbazone, azoxystrobin (Consulta Pública n° 296 and  306), halosulfuron-methyl, indaziflam, linuron, mepiquat chloride, propaquizafop, triclopyr, thiodicarb, tebuconazole (Consulta Pública n° 304 and  308), iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by March 11, 2017 for iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium, azoxystrobin (n° 306), and tebuconazole (n° 308) and by March 10, 2017 for all other active ingredients. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on February 11, 2017.

On February 25, the U.S. EPA amended tolerances for residues of triclopyr in milk and livestock commodities. The residue definitions were also amended to include triclopyr choline salt.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by April 25, 2016. The amended MRLs will appear in the Global MRL Database tomorrow.
