The Global MRL Database currently displays relevant established and proposed MRLs for New Zealand, Thailand, Italy, and India.

Information on pesticides and other contaminants is included in Section V for Singapore and Section III for the other markets. The Global MRL Database currently displays relevant established and proposed MRLs for these markets.

On December 8, Ukraine's State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service notified the WTO of its draft law on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine concerning food safety. Adoption of the draft would make Ukraine's food safety control system meet international requirements, such as EU requirements, taking into account the social and economic situation of Ukraine.

The final date for comments is February 1, 2016.

On September 10, 2014, Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution creating a consolidated food safety authority, the State Service on Safety of Foodstuffs and Consumer Protection.  This new agency is based on the previous State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine and will encompass the State Sanitary Service, Agricultural Inspection, and Agency for Consumer Rights.   More information may be found in this related USDA GAIN Report, published on September 16.
