On May 31, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for the following active ingredients (in Portuguese): thiophanate-methylflumioxazinfosetyl, Bacillus firmustrifloxystrobin, Pasteuria nishizawaeS-metolachlorspinetoramcyproconazoleprohexadione-calciumMelaleuca alternifolia, fluazinam, lufenuron, diflubenzuron, atrazine, chlorothalonil, imazethapyr, azoxystrobin, difenoconazole, tebuconazole, metsulfuron-methyl, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, zeta-cypermethrin, imibenconazole, bifenthrin, and etofenprox.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by June 26, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will show in the Global MRL Database by Thursday.

On July 30, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of the following active ingredients:

  • Benalaxyl-M in or on grape and tomato, import tolerances.
  • Isofetamid in or on multiple commodities.
  • Zeta-cypermethrin in or on corn, field, forage; corn, field, stover; and corn, pop, stover.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by September 28, 2015. Relevant MRL changes will be added to Global MRL Database.
