On April 19, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish or modify MRLs for several active ingredients.

Comments must be received by May 20, 2019. MRLs from these proposals will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database next week.

On April 17, Argentina updated the Argentinian Food Code through Resolución Conjunta 13/2019. All updates are effective from April 18, 2019.

On April 18, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for abamectin, diafenthiuron, mancozeb, metalaxyl-M, pyriproxyfen, tebuconazole, and thiamethoxam (links in Portuguese).

MRL changes from these amendments are currently displaying in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database.

On April 17, Argentina updated the Argentinian Food Code through Resolución Conjunta 16/2019. All updates are effective from April 18, 2019. 

Argentina’s food additive regulations are included, in English, in the BCGlobal Food Additive Database; however, enzymes and processing aids typically fall outside the scope of the database. If you are interested in subscribing, please contact BCI for more information.
