On November 29, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for clomazone, fenamidone, and spiromesifen in or on various commodities.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through February 12, 2019. The proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on November 30, 2018.

On July 28, the U.S. EPA amended tolerances for residues of fenamidone and topramezone in or on several commodities. Additionally, the EPA established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for Pseudomonas chlororaphis strain AFS009 in or on all food commodities when used in accordance with label directions and good agricultural practices.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by September 26, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on July 29, 2017.

On April 15, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2016/567 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for chlorantraniliprole, cyflumetofen, cyprodinil, dimethomorph, dithiocarbamates, fenamidone, fluopyram, flutolanil, imazamox, metrafenone, myclobutanil, propiconazole, sedaxane, and spirodiclofen in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect May 5, 2016. Relevant pending MRL changes are on display in the Global MRL Database.

On February 22, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a conclusion on the peer review of the pesticide risk assessment of active substance fenamidone. 

The European Union's fenamidone MRLs currently display in the Global MRL Database, including established and proposed MRLs.

On September 30, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for fenamidone. PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through December 14, 2014.

Proposed MRLs do not appear in MRL Database until they are officially adopted by PMRA.

Recently, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) established new and revised MRLs for several active ingredients.

MRLs have been amended for benoxacor, dimethomorph, fenamidone, spinetoram, and trifloxystrobin.

An updated list of Canadian MRLs can be accessed in their online database. Relevant changes have also been made to www.mrldatabase.com.
