On June 21, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for fomesafen in or on various commodities.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through September 23, 2018. The proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on July 12, 2018.

PMRA will be accepting comments on these consultations through September 8, 2014 for spinosad and glufosinate-ammonium; however, comments for chlorpyrifos, metalaxyl, and fomesafen may be submitted until September 9, 2014.

On June 5, 2013, the US EPA published a notice of applications received for new and revised MRLs. Pesticide petitions have been submitted for: flutriafol, benzovindiflupyr, flonicamid, metaflumizone, fenamidone, fomesafen, flupyradifurone, aminopyralid, difenoconazole, chlorantraniliprole, isofetamid, thiabendazole, saflufenacil, and mesotrione. Comments must be received on or before July 5, 2013.
