On November 14, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for amisulbrom, mandestrobin, and isopyrazam in or on various commodities.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through January 28, 2019. The proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on November 15, 2018.

On July 18, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published a new MRL amendment affecting imidacloprid; oxathiapiprolin; quinclorac; clofentezine; chlorpropham; spiramycin; tylosin; dazomet, metam and methyl isothiocyanate; picarbutrazox; fluopyram; fludioxonil; prohexadione-calcium; and mandestrobin.

Relevant MRL changes will appear in the Global MRL Database by July 28, 2017.

On December 7, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published a proposal to amend numerous MRLs for pesticides and veterinary drugs. Comments on these proposals are due by December 21, 2016. Any proposals containing MRL decreases will likely be announced to the WTO in the coming months.

Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database by December 22, 2016.

On April 6, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2016/486 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for cyazofamid, cycloxydim, difluoroacetic acid, fenoxycarb, flumetralin, fluopicolide, flupyradifurone, fluxapyroxad, kresoxim-methyl, mandestrobin, mepanipyrim, metalaxyl-M, pendimethalin, and tefluthrin in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect April 26, 2016. Relevant pending MRL changes will appear in the Global MRL Database tomorrow.
