On June 27, the European Union published Regulation (EU) 2017/1135 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for dimethoate and omethoate in or on certain products. 

Amended MRLs go into effect January 17, 2018. Relevant pending MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on June 28, 2017.

On June 21, the European Union published Reg. (EU) 2017/1016 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for benzovindiflupyr, chlorantraniliprole, deltamethrin, ethofumesate, haloxyfop, Mild Pepino Mosaic Virus isolate VC1, Mild Pepino Mosaic Virus isolate VX1, oxathiapiprolin, penthiopyrad, pyraclostrobin, spirotetramat, sunflower oil, tolclofos-methyl and trinexapac in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect July 11, 2017. Relevant pending MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on June 22, 2017.

On June 19, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for flupyradifurone (PMRL2017-05 and PMRL2017-06) and fluoxastrobin.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notice. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on June 20, 2017.

(EU) 2017/978 in the EU Official Journal, amending MRLs for fluopyram; hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), alpha-isomer; hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), beta-isomer; hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), sum of isomers, except the gamma isomer; lindane (hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), gamma-isomer); nicotine and profenofos in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect January 4, 2018. Relevant pending MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on June 15, 2017.

On June 14, the U.S. EPA amended tolerances for residues of isofetamid and spirotetramat in or on several commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by August 14, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on June 15, 2017.

On June 13, the Australia Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Gazette No. 12 –  13 June 2017. Page 22 of the gazette lists draft MRLs and pages 27-28 list amendments to MRLs for pesticides on various commodities.

Comments on the draft MRLs must be submitted to APVMA by July 11, 2017. Relevant proposed and amended MRLs will appear in the Global MRL Database on June 14, 2017.

On June 8, the U.S. EPA established a time-limited tolerance for residues of triclopyr in or on sugarcane. The tolerance will expire on December 31, 2020.
