On October 9, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for melaleuca alternifolia, mineral oil, prothioconazole, prohexadione-calcium, thiophanate-methyl, thiamethoxam, trifloxystrobin, clethodim, dicamba, glufosinate, imazapyr, imazapic, aminopyralid, abscisic acid, and bixafen (links in Portuguese).

On August 24, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for prothioconazole, trifloxystrobin, bixafen, dicamba, thiamethoxam, melaleuca alternifolia, glufosinate, mineral oil, clethodim, imazapyr, imazapic, aminopyralid, abscisic acid, prohexadione-calcium, and thiophanate-methyl (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by September 22, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on August 25, 2017.

On November 10, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) opened a public consultation on the active substance trifloxystrobin. Comments on the rapporteur Member State’s assessment report must be sent to EFSA by January 10, 2017.
