USDA Amends Directive on Ingredients Permitted in Meat, Poultry, and Eggs
On February 27, the USDA Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) published FSIS Directive 7120.1 Revision 49. This directive lists safe and suitable ingredients, including food additives, used in production of meat, poultry, and egg products.
