USDA Amends Directive on Ingredients Permitted in Meat, Poultry, and Eggs
On December 6, the USDA Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) published FSIS Directive 7120.1 Revision 48. This directive lists safe and suitable ingredients, including food additives, used in the production of meat, poultry, and egg products.
