BCI provides customized international regulatory data services, and maintains the Global MRL Database,, which lists pesticide and veterinary drug Maximum Residue Level (MRL) tolerances for markets around the world


To complement the Global MRL Database, BCI MRL News will announce MRL regulatory policy stories from around the globe as located by BCI’s daily monitoring of government gazettes and websites as well as World Trade Organization (WTO) notifications.

Canada Adopts Abamectin MRLs

On February 13, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) added MRLs to their MRL database for abamectin in or on various products (established via PMRL2016-65).

Individual changes may be viewed on Health Canada's MRL Database. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on February 16, 2017.
