To complement the Global MRL Database, BCI MRL News will announce MRL regulatory policy stories from around the globe as located by BCI’s daily monitoring of government gazettes and websites as well as World Trade Organization (WTO) notifications.

Taiwan Notifies WTO of Amended MRLs

On March 15, Taiwan’s Ministry of Health notified the WTO of an amendment to its Standards for Pesticide Residue Limits in Foods, establishing new and amended MRLs for multiple active ingredients on various commodities.

The amended MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on March 16, 2017.
