Executive and Grant Finance Assistant

Bryant Christie Inc. (BCI) is accepting resumes for a full time executive and grant finance assistant for the firm’s Sacramento office.  BCI helps companies and industry organizations eliminate trade barriers, develop new markets, and manage their international government affairs. Executive Assistant Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the company’s president with administrative assistance and general office work.  This work includes travel assistance and scheduling, office reception, filing, mail and courier processing, project/staff support, and supply inventory management.  The position also involves working with BCI staff to encourage consistent use of the company’s brand and style manual, including staff training where necessary.

Grant and Financial Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also assist BCI’s federal and state grant accounting staff.  Core responsibilities of this role include assisting with client grant and financial work including scanning, copying/printing, data entry, invoice coding, invoice documentation review, payment recording, bank statement reconciliation, audit preparation, and filing.

Position Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable working independently and maintaining focus while performing repetitive tasks.  They must be detail oriented for data entry and invoice processing and have excellent writing and communication skills.  Knowledge of MS Office applications, as well as general PC and Adobe Acrobat knowledge is essential. Candidates must also be able to multi-task to effectively balance the multiple responsibilities of this position. A college degree is required.

This is a full-time position that includes benefits following a standard waiting period.  Salary level depends on experience.
