International Market Development Assistant

Responsibilities

BCI is currently accepting resumes for an international market development assistant in its Seattle office. The selected candidate will assist BCI market development managers with guiding clients’ international marketing efforts, including their participation in United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) export a

  • Grant writing and administration
  • Project management
  • Market research
  • Preparation of reports and client presentations
  • Strategic planning
  • Domestic and international travel (up to 10% of time) may be possible over time

Position Requirements

Required:

  • B.A./B.S. in policy, business, economics, international relations or similar fields
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be diplomatic within the context of various cultures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, lead and support teams, and oversee program budgets
Desired:
  • Knowledge of trade and food, beverage or agricultural sectors
  • Grant writing experience
  • Proficiency in a foreign language
