On November 9, Denmark's Høringsportalen posted draft MRL amendments under consideration by the European Union's Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed. These include:

  • SANTE/11195/2018: clothianidin, cycloxydim, epoxiconazole, flonicamide, haloxyfop, mandestrobin, mepiquat, Metschnikowia fructicola NRRL Y-27328, and prohexadione.
  • SANTE/11196/2018: azoxystrobin, bicyclopyrone, chlormequat, cyprodinil, difenoconazole, fenpropimorph, fenpyroximate, fluopyram, fosethyl, isoprothiolan, isopyrazam, oxamyl, prothioconazole, spinetoram, trifloxystrobin, and triflumezopyrim.

Relevant proposed MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on November 13, 2018.

On November 8, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed to amend MRLs for kresoxim-methyl and discontinued agricultural pest control products in or on various commodities.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through January 22, 2019. The proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on November 9, 2018.

On November 6, the Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Gazette No. 22 - 6 November 2018. Pages 22-24 of the gazette list draft MRLs and page 29-30 lists amendments to MRLs for pesticides in or on various commodities.

Comments on the draft MRLs must be submitted to the APVMA by December 4, 2018. Relevant proposed and amended MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on November 7, 2018.

On October 25, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) announced proposed MRL changes for difenoconazole, spirotetramat, tetraconazole, triforine, flutriafol, flupyrimin, and fenitrothion. These changes were reported via the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service.

Comments are due to the Embassy by November 8, 2018. Relevant proposed MRLs are available in the Global MRL Database.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) recently published JMPR 2018 September: Summary Report, recommending MRLs that will be considered at the 2019 CCPR meeting to be held April 8-12, 2019.

The Joint Meeting on Pesticide Residues (JMPR) is the scientific committee that reviews MRL submissions to Codex and proposes new and revised MRLs for the CCPR to consider at its annual meeting.

Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on October 24, 2018.
