Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) recently announced proposed MRL changes for permethrin, chloropicrin, dichlobentiazox, fenpicoxamid, flutianil, prothiofos, and cephapirin. These changes were reported via the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service.

Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database on September 6, 2019.

On August 30, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish or modify MRLs for several active ingredients.

Comments must be received by September 30, 2019. MRLs from these proposals will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on September 5, 2019.

On August 29, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a reasoned opinion on the review of the existing MRLs for emamectin according to Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005.

On September 3, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service published a Food and Agricultural Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) report for Panama

On August 19, Mexico’s Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risk (COFEPRIS) published an amendment to Annex VI of its food additive regulations. It is effective from August 19, 2019.
