On January 3, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a reasoned opinion on the modification of the existing MRLs for fosetyl/phosphonic acid in chards/beet leaves and honey.

Proposed MRLs from this reasoned opinion will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on January 5, 2022.

On December 29, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) published Notice No. 2021-114 (link in Korean) revising their food regulations, including numerous pesticide and veterinary drug MRL changes. MRL changes from this amendment are effective January 1, 2022.

The amendment is in the process of being translated and entered into the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database

On December 29, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published a proposed food additive amendment. The draft amendment is available in Portuguese. Comments are due by February 19, 2022.

The comment deadline is February 18, 2022. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide and Vet Drug MRL Databases on December 21, 2021.
