This week, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) notified the WTO of proposed MRL changes for captandithianon, thiacloprid, propanil, and amoxicillin.

The final deadline for comments for captan is September 28, 2019. The final deadline for comments for dithianon, thiacloprid, propanil and amoxicillin is September 29, 2019. Relevant proposed MRLs are currently displaying in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database

On July 31, Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing to revise the monographs for pyriproxyfen, trifloxystrobin, clodinafop-propargyl, carbendazim, flutriafol, acibenzolar-S-methyl, fluazinam, saflufenacil, trinexapac-ethyl, tebuconazole, citrus sinensis essential oil, clethodim, imazethapyr, flumioxazin, Telonomus podisi, Hirsutella thompsonii, and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (links in Portuguese).

On July 25, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published Amendment No. 186, varying Australia's Schedule 20 to include MRLs from Proposal M1016 – Maximum Residue Limits (2018).

Amended MRLs are currently available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database.
