On September 8, the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) published FSIS Directive 7120.1 Revision 53. This directive lists safe and suitable ingredients, including food additives, used in the production of meat, poultry, and egg products.

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) recently announced proposed MRL changes for several active ingredients. These changes were reported via the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service.

Relevant MRL changes will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug Database by September 10, 2020.

On September 8, the Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published APVMA Gazette No. 18, 8 September 2020. Pages 36-37 of the gazette list draft MRLs.

On September 8, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments to the monographs for Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Allium sativum, cuprous oxide, fenpropathrin, glyphosate, novaluron, pyriproxyfen, mesotrione, fipronil, lambda-cyhalothrin, fluquinconazole, atrazine, methomyl, tebuthiuron, oxyfluorfen, propiconazole, tebuconazole, teflubenzuron, acetamiprid, fluazinam, cymoxanil, quizalofop-P-ethyl, famoxadone, dinotefuran, spinetoram, diafenthiuron, flutriafol, chlorantraniliprole, and flupyradifurone (links in Portuguese).

Relevant MRLs from these amendments will be added to the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database in the coming week.
