On February 11, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for malathion. 

Relevant amended MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on February 12, 2020.

On February 11, the U.S. EPA published a proposal to establish pesticide tolerances and revoke the current exemption for Banda de Lupinus albus doce (BLAD). 

Comments must be received by April 13, 2020. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on February 12, 2020.

Recently, the Central American Customs Union published a new food additive regulation. The regulation is only available in Spanish and is effective on June 5, 2020.

On January 31, the U.S. EPA established a number of time-limited tolerances related to emergency exemptions for use for thiabendazole, streptomycin, bifenthrin, methoxyfenozide, and flupyradifurone. 

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by March 31, 2020. The MRLs have been added to the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database.
