On April 10, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service published Food and Agricultural Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) reports for Malaysia, Peru, Ecuador, and Saudi Arabia.

On April 9, the Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published APVMA Gazette No. 7, 9 April 2019. Pages 37-39 of the gazette list draft MRLs for pesticides in or on various commodities.

Comments on the draft MRLs must be submitted to the APVMA by May 7, 2019. Relevant proposed MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on April 10, 2019.

On April 5, the European Union published Commission Regulation 2019/552 amending MRLs for azoxystrobin, bicyclopyrone, chlormequat, cyprodinil, difenoconazole, fenpropimorph, fenpyroximate, fluopyram, fosetyl, isoprothiolane, isopyrazam, oxamyl, prothioconazole, spinetoram, trifloxystrobin and triflumezopyrim in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs will go into effect on April 25, 2019. Relevant pending MRL changes will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database next week.
