On January 20, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for tetraniliprole in or on various commodities. 

Comments are due by April 4, 2020. The proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on January 22, 2020.

On January 16, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a reasoned opinion on the review of the existing MRLs for fluxapyroxad and thiencarbazone-methyl according to Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005.

Proposed MRLs from these reasoned opinions will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on January 17, 2020.

On January 14, the Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published APVMA Gazette No. 1, 14 January 2020. Pages 30-33 of the gazette list draft MRLs and pages 38-41 list amendments to MRLs for pesticides and vet drugs in or on various commodities.

Relevant proposed and amended MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide and Vet Drug MRL Databases on January 15, 2020.

On January 8, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing to revise the monographs for chrysoperla-externa, sophora flavescens, bifenthrin, acetamiprid, methidathion, abamectin, trifloxystrobin, kresoxim-methyl, pyraflufen-ethyl, flupyradifurone, flumioxazin, indoxacarb, and tebuconazole (links in Portuguese).

Comments are due by March 8, 2020. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on January 9, 2020.

On December 30, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) published Notice 2019-594 and Notice 2019-595 (in Korean) proposing revisions to their food regulations, including numerous MRL changes.

On December 12, New Zealand's Ministry for Primary Industries published Proposals to amend the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds) Food Notice - December 2019. The proposal includes draft pesticide and veterinary drug MRLs.

Comments on these proposed MRLs must be received by February 11, 2020. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide and Vet Drug MRL Databases by December 24, 2019.
