June 8, 2017

On June 8, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of two pesticide petitions (82 FR 26641 and 82 FR 26639) to establish MRLs and tolerance exemptions for several active ingredients in or on various commodities.

Comments must be received by July 10, 2017. MRLs from these proposals will display in the Global MRL Database on June 9, 2017.

October 19, 2016

Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for clopyralid and tebuconazole in or on various products.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices. Relevant MRL changes currently display in the Global MRL Database.

July 14, 2016

Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently proposed MRLs for the active ingredients clopyralid and tebuconazole.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through September 26, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on July 15, 2016.

October 31, 2014

On October 31, the WTO published a notification from New Zealand's Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) on proposals to amend the New Zealand (Maximum Residue Limits of Agricultural Compounds) Food Standards 2014.

Specific MRLs are listed in the WTO notice, and comments will be accepted through December 30, 2014.  

July 15, 2014

On July 15, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published the outcomes of the consultations on the pesticide risk assessments of confirmatory data for active substances aluminium silicate and clopyralid.

June 20, 2014

On June 20, the European Union (EU) published MRL amendments Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 676/2014, 677/2014, and 678/2014 in the EU Official Journal. These regulations include MRLs for pharmacological substances triclabendazole and cabergoline when used for veterinary medicinal purposes.

Also mentioned in the regulation, active substances clopyralid, cyprodinil, fosetyl, pyrimethanil, and trinexapac's expiry dates have been extended to April 30, 2018.

June 1, 2013

Effective May 22, 2013, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) established MRLs for the active ingredient clopyralid. Changes correspond with those proposed in PMRL2013-04. Canada's current MRL regulation can be found in their MRL database.

February 22, 2013, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) published consultation document Proposed Maximum Residue Limit PMRL2013-04. New and revised MRLs are proposed for the active ingredient clopyralid on various commodities.
