August 3, 2017

On August 3, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of ethaboxam and cyclaniliprole in or on various commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by October 2, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on August 4, 2017.

August 1, 2017

On August 2, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for cyclaniliprole on several commodities.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRLs through October 11, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on August 2, 2017.

May 26, 2017

On May 24, Denmark's Høringsportalen posted draft MRL amendments under consideration by the European Union's Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed. These include:

  • SANTE/10656/2016 Rev. 1Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain FZB24, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain MBI 600, Beauveria bassiana strain NPP111B005, Beauveria bassiana strain 147, clayed charcoal, cyclaniliprole, dichlorprop, ethephon, etridiazole, flonicamid, fluazifop-P, hydrogen peroxide, metaldehyde, penconazole, spinetoram, tau-fluvalinate and Urtica spp.
  • SANTE/11706/2016 Rev. 2: fenpropidin and pymetrozine

 Relevant proposed MRLs have been added to the Global MRL Database.

April 19, 2016

On April 19, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published conclusions on the peer reviews of the pesticide risk assessments of cyclaniliprole and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium.

The European Union's cyclaniliprole and iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium MRLs currently display in the Global MRL Database.
