July 18, 2016

On July 18, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for chlorantraniliprole, alpha-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, acetamiprid, azoxystrobin, carfentrazone-ethyl, cypermethrin, thiamethoxam, thiophanate-methyl, pyraclostrobin, imibenconazole, fipronil, and spinosad.

MRL changes from these amendments will be entered in the Global MRL Database by Wednesday, July 20.

On June 8, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing changes for the following active ingredients (in Portuguese): thiamethoxam, thiophanate-methyl, pyraclostrobin, imibenconazole, fluxapyroxad, fipronil, spinosad, difenoconazole, chlorantraniliprole, alpha-cypermethrin, carfentrazone-ethyl, cypermethrin, bifenthrin, acetamiprid, and azoxystrobin.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by July 7, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will show in the Global MRL Database next week.

August 18, 2014

Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently established MRLs for cypermethrin and spirodiclofen. Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices, and relevant changes will be made to the MRL Database.

July 31, 2014

Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare recently notified the WTO of a Draft of Standards for Pesticide Residue Limits in Foods, containing MRLs for 29 active ingredients.

Comments must be submitted by September 27, 2014. 

June 17, 2014

On June 17, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Gazette No. 12 - 17 June 2014. Pages 30-33 of the gazette outline established MRLs for several pesticides on various commodities, amending Australia's Standard 1.4.2.

These changes will appear in shortly.

On May 15, Health Candada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for the following active ingredients:

PMRA will accept comments until July 28, 2014.
