February 23, 2018

On February 23, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed an MRL for sulfoxaflor on grape.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRL through April 9, 2018. The proposed MRL will display in the Global MRL Database on February 24, 2018.

May 25, 2017

On May 25, the U.S. EPA amended tolerances for residues of fenazaquin, flazasulfuron, and isopyram in or on several commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by July 24, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on May 26, 2017.
August 30, 2016

On August 30, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published conclusions on the peer reviews of the pesticide risk assessments of the active substances flazasulfuron and carfentrazone-ethyl.

The European Union's current flazasulfuron and carfentrazone-ethyl MRLs display in the Global MRL Database.

April 25, 2016

On April 25, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish MRLs on numerous active ingredients.

Comments must be received by May 25, 2016. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database tomorrow.

September 30, 2015

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recently opened a public consultation on the active substance flazasulfuron. Comments on the rapporteur Member State's assessment reports must be sent to EFSA by November 29, 2015.

September 8, 2014

On September 5, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of flazasulfuron in or on tree nut group 14-12.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by November 4, 2014. 

March 26, 2014

On March 24, the European Union published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 289/2014 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation revises MRLs for foramsulfuron, azimsulfuron, iodosulfuron, oxasulfuron, mesosulfuron, flazasulfuron, imazosulfuron, propamocarb, bifenazate, chlorpropham and thiobencarb.

MRL revisions were made to address new and changed uses. This amendment will enter into force April 11, 2014, and the MRLs will be in effect as of October 11, 2014.

Relevant changes will appear in after the regulation is in effect.
