On October 2, the European Union published Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1777 amending MRLs for Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain FZB24, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain MBI 600, clayed charcoal, dichlorprop-P, ethephon, etridiazole, flonicamid, fluazifop-P, hydrogen peroxide, metaldehyde, penconazole, spinetoram, tau-fluvalinate and Urtica spp. in or on certain products.

Amended MRLs go into effect October 22, 2017. Relevant pending MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on October 2, 2017.

On September 27, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of fluazifop-P-butyl and oxathiapiprolin in or on various commodities.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by November 27, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on September 28, 2017.

On August 2, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) notified the WTO of proposed MRL changes for the following active ingredients:

On March 30, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published a proposal to amend numerous MRLs for pesticides and veterinary drugs. Comments on these proposals are due by April 13, 2016. Any proposals containing MRL decreases will likely be announced to the WTO in the coming months.

Relevant proposed MRLs have been added to Global MRL Database.

On December 11, the European Union notified the WTO of proposed MRLs for 1-naphthylacetamide, 1-naphthylacetic acid, chloridazon, fluazifop-P, fuberidazole, mepiquat, and tralkoxydim in or on certain products.

The final date for comments is February 9, 2016. Relevant proposed MRLs will be added to Global MRL Database.

On April 6, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of several initial filings of pesticide petitions requesting the establishment or modification of pesticide MRLs in or on various commodities.

Comments on petitioned-for tolerances must be received by May 6, 2015, and relevant proposed MRLs will be added to www.globalmrl.com.

Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) recently published draft amendments proposing MRLs for the following active ingredients (links in Portuguese): glufosinate, kresoxim-methyl, chlorantraniliprole, fluazifop-P, flutriafol, metalaxyl-M, acibenzolar-S-methyl, benzyladenine, lambda-cyhalothrin, imazapyr and imazapic.

Comments on these proposals must be submitted by October 31, 2014. Relevant changes will not appear in  MRL Database unless they are officially adopted by ANVISA.
