On July 30, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) notified the WTO of proposed MRL changes for dimethenamid, fluxapyroxad, gibberellin, heptachlor, fluvalinate, teflubenzuron, 2,4-D, chlorfluazuron, chlormequat, metalaxyl and metalaxyl-M, and spinosad.

The final deadline for comments is September 28, 2018. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database on August 1, 2018.

On May 24, Denmark's Høringsportalen posted draft MRL amendments under consideration by the European Union's Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed. These include:

  • SANTE/10656/2016 Rev. 1Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain FZB24, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain MBI 600, Beauveria bassiana strain NPP111B005, Beauveria bassiana strain 147, clayed charcoal, cyclaniliprole, dichlorprop, ethephon, etridiazole, flonicamid, fluazifop-P, hydrogen peroxide, metaldehyde, penconazole, spinetoram, tau-fluvalinate and Urtica spp.
  • SANTE/11706/2016 Rev. 2: fenpropidin and pymetrozine

 Relevant proposed MRLs have been added to the Global MRL Database.

Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently proposed changes to their Standards for Pesticide Residue Limits in Foods.  MRLs are proposed for active ingredients clothianidin, cyazofamid, cyhalothrin, deltamethrin, fluvalinate, imidacloprid, methomyl, methoxyfenozide, and oxydemeton methyl.  

Taiwan's FDA is seeking comments from international trading partners before May 18, 2013. Specific proposed MRLs can be viewed here.
