March 21, 2018

On March 21, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of aluminum tris (O-ethylphosphonate), flutianil, and S-metolachlor in or on various commodities.

Objections and requests for hearing must be received by May 21, 2018. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on March 22, 2018. 

December 19, 2017

On December 19, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of a pesticide petition to amend MRLs for aluminum tris (O-ethylphosphonate) in or on citrus fruit commodities.

Comments must be received by January 18, 2018. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on December 20, 2017.

July 13, 2017

On July 13, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) announced proposed MRL changes for DCIP, Triforine, Pyraclostrobin, Pyribencarb, Fenquinotrione, Fosetyl-aluminum, and Metaldehyde. In addition, MHLW also proposed the withdrawal of MRLs for 25 agricultural and veterinary chemicals. These changes were reported via the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service. 

Comments are due to the Embassy by July 17, 2017. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the Global MRL Database over the next week.

October 31, 2016

Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for fosetyl-Al and hexythiazox in or on various products.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices. Relevant MRL changes will display in the Global MRL Database on November 1.

November 7, 2014

On November 7, the U.S. EPA announced its receipt of a pesticide petitioin requesting the establishment or modification of regulations for residues of fosetyl-Al in or on various commodities.

Comments must be received by December 8, 2014. 

September 23, 2014

On September 23, the European Union published amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 991/2014 in the EU Official Journal concerning MRLs for fosetyl in or on certain products.

This regulation shall enter into force on September 24, 2014, and relevant changes will be made to MRL Database at that time. 

July 14, 2014

The European Union recently published MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 737/2014 in the EU Official Journal. This regulation includes MRLs for 2-phenylphenol, chlormequat, cyflufenamid, cyfluthrin, dicamba, fluopicolide, flutriafol, fosetyl, indoxacarb, isoprothiolane, mandipropamid, metaldehyde, metconazole, phosmet, picloram, propyzamide, pyriproxyfen, saflufenacil, spinosad, and trifloxystrobin in or on certain products.

Further details, including MRL tables, may be found via the linked Official Journal document. MRLs in this regulation will apply starting July 30, 2014, and will appear in the MRL Database at that time.  

June 20, 2014

On June 20, the European Union (EU) published MRL amendments Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 676/2014, 677/2014, and 678/2014 in the EU Official Journal. These regulations include MRLs for pharmacological substances triclabendazole and cabergoline when used for veterinary medicinal purposes.

Also mentioned in the regulation, active substances clopyralid, cyprodinil, fosetyl, pyrimethanil, and trinexapac's expiry dates have been extended to April 30, 2018.
