BCI is pleased to announce that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) food additive regulations have been added to the Food Additive Database and are available to subscribers.
GCC member nations are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
The GCC recently adopted two new regulations: Additives Permitted for Use in Food Stuffs (GSO 2500/2015) and Sweeteners Permitted in Food (GSO 995/2015). Superseding several previous regulations, these documents more closely align the GCC with Codex food additive standards. The GSO electronic publication of these standards is available for purchase from the GSO Standards Catalogue.
BCI's Food Additive Database includes maximum use level regulations for over 800 additives in more than 65 countries worldwide.  Please contact us for more information on subscribing.
