Matt Lantz, BCI Vice President for Global Access, was invited to speak at an upcoming WTO SPS Workshop on Pesticide Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs). Matt’s name was put forward by the U.S. government as he, and BCI more generally, are recognized leaders on MRL policies and their impact on agricultural production and trade. The workshop will be held in Geneva, Switzerland on October 24 and 25. Specifically, Matt was asked to speak about on The Role of the Private Sector in the Establishment and Implementation of MRLs. Other topics to be covered over the two days include approaches to establishing MRLs, compliance and implementation, risk assessment, and more.
