On June 9, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a conclusion on the peer review of the pesticide risk assessment of the active substance maleic hydrazide.

Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently proposed MRLs for the following active ingredients:

Comments must be submitted by February 10, 2015, with proposed MRLs not appearing in MRL Database until they are officially adopted by PMRA.

July 1, 2014

On July 1, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the availability of its draft human health and ecological risk assessments for the registration review of active ingredients chlorfenapyr, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl, flumiclorac-pentyl, maleic hydrazide, sulfentrazone, and tebuthiuron.

Comments on these assessments must be submitted by September 2, 2014. 

August 20, 2013

The European Union (EU) recently published Commission Regulation (EU) No 777/2013. This regulation amends the EU's national MRL regulation, pertaining specifically to the following active ingredients: clodinafop, clomazone, diuron, ethalfluralin, ioxynil, iprovalicarb, maleic hydrazide, mepanipyrim, metconazole, prosulfocarb and tepraloxydim.
